These tools provide a means of fully digitizing land-use review procedures, from application in-take, through the board review process, to final decision making. MuniCollab’s portal provides public access to land-use proposals providing greater transparency for all stakeholders We believe that modern and effective land-use review processes serve a critical function in shaping the future of the communities they serve.

Lou Klepner

Lou Klepner, Founder & CEO

Lou Klepner is the Chief Executive Office and is a co-founder of MuniCollab. For the past 25 years Lou has worked as an software application architect designing and developing numerous applications across a variety of sectors. Most recently he was the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Bright Parenting, a venture-backed start up which was acquired by Maven Clinic in 2020. Prior to that he served as a Distinguished Engineer with Charter Networks. Lou’s experiences serving on municipal boards and committees inspired him to begin MuniCollab as a means of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of these bodies. Lou currently serves as a member of the Ulster County Traffic Safety Board and Saugerties Transportation Advisory Committee.

Abe Uchitelle

Abe Uchitelle, Founder & COO

Abe Uchitelle is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of MuniCollab. Previously Abe was the head of Dragon360, a boutique digital agency based in Kingston, NY. During this time the agency expanded its service offering to include a comprehensive suite of digital services, while at the same time doubling revenue. More recently Abe led operations for CanCode Communities, a workforce development nonprofit based in Albany, NY. Abe is also an elected official, serving in his third term as an Ulster County Legislator.
